New Amazon store for Mixed Media artists and book reviews

I just opened an Amazon store. I have added all of my favorite books. Most all of them I have and I really love them. I am going to start doing reviews of mixed media books so I wanted a place where it would be easy for you to find a book I do a review on. I will always post the link to the book at the end of my book review blog post.

I will show you some pages from the book I'm reviewing and discuss the good and bad about each book.
If you want to check out my Amazon store to see which books I will be reviewing you can go to the link below

Tutorial Time foam stamps diy

Hi all it's time for a tutorial. I have been playing with different stamp making techniques and I decided foam stamps are my favorite and they last the longest. I have tried using a styrofoam plate, cardboard pieces, and foam.
These are some I have made

Today let's make foam stamps!

You need ;
a craft knife
scissors
cardboard scraps
craft foam
glue
pen

Start by cutting some cardboard into sqaures the size you want your stamps to be. I like my stamps about the size of the palm of my hand.

Draw your shapes you want onto the craft foam with your pen, and cut out each shape. I don't worry to much about it being perfect. I like the look of uneven stamps when I create background papers.
Next glue down your foam onto the pieces of cardboard. I use tacky glue because it lasts a long time

Let you need to let the glue dry completely before you use your new stamps. Here is a picture of all the ones I made. All together it took about 45 minutes to cut and glue everything.

See super simple and now I have a lot of new stamps to play with. Hope you enjoyed this tutorial, see you soon!

First snow in Knoxville Tennessee !

So I am soooo late with this blog post. We got our first snowfall here in Knoxville and as beautiful as it was I hated it! I was stuck inside for 2 days because my car won't get up the hill where I live so I worked on some jewelry for one of my Etsy shops, and a Crochet blanket for my other Etsy shop.

I LOVE The Wanderlust 2016 Workshop I'm taking There is still time to join if you want Just click Here to find out more!
